i did this post for the adayinmylife lj community. so duh i'm going to post it in here too. but i'm not going to go through and change it all.

i woke up at 8 am when my mom called to ask me to text message my brother. it was my first day off in a while so i went back to sleep after that.

got up again at 9:30. The sun was out and it was super nice outside.

i went downstairs to pee. I didn't notice the hilarious face that Pepper was making until i uploaded these pictures later. haha.

i got online and looked at hal sparks videos for about an hour. he's coming to tennessee at the end of this month and i'm really excited.

mimi

henri

pepper again. the cats used to avoid me when i housesat. now they won't leave me alone! it's ok. i like animals.

at about 11 i finally got dressed and put in my new earings. they are tiny owls and i love them.

brushed my teef.

ate some frosted flakes and watched "40 biggest fashion flubs" or something on vh1. i dont' have cable so when i house sit i watch tons of silly stuff on vh1.

after i ate i put on my shoes and tried to do something productive.

so i got the mail. wow it was nice outside! it inspired me to actually leave the house. which i wasn't planning on before.

so i got in my car.

and drove

to the bank! exciting!

then i drove to the town square and deciding to look in antique stores!

the first one i went in was super creepy! i didn't notice until i had walked to the second level that there were dead animals EVERYWHERE. i would not be surprised if there were more than 200. and not just deer. there was a lion, a TAPIR, lots of big cats, some wolves. a baby aligator.

it was freaky.

it looked like this bear was jumping over the wall to get you!

there were also tons of these giant african statues. this place was three stories and had at least 9 rooms piled high with dusty old stuff. i felt creeped out the whole time i was there.

so i got out of there and tried my luck on the other side of the square.

i love feista ware!!!!

a historical note. this is where the town of lebanon was founded. it's called winky dooders cabin or something silly. there is a spring next to it. and a burger king behind it. haha.

next i went to this place. it was happenin!

i was in the middle of a red hat club outting! that proves that i'm cool right?

in the spirit of the day. i bought a glass bottle coke and drank it in front of the coke mural beside the store.

here is what i actually bought. it's all japanese. the fox is a planter. the seals are salt and pepper shakers!! and the little owl is to hold toothpicks. i also got a book of dog photos, and a cute elvis button.

henri helped me eat some delicious Americone Dream ice cream.

i tried to work on my scrapbook. mimi helped.

i made a card for the lady i was house sitting for. it's her cats! haha.

i had to drive back to my house then and took my dog to the vet. she has an ear infection that won't go away. her appointment was at 1:30.

poor girl. she hates the vet.

i went back to lebenon after that and my fiance travis came over! woo!

he brought me a hamburger and some richard simmons tapes. one with braodway songs!!!! (I collect them. i love them for real)

at around 5:30 we left for trivia night in nashville!!

i ate some of the huge taffy piece that i bought earlier. it was really good.

the drive was nice. we didn't hit any traffic.

we're here!

it's at a place called the flying saucer. it's a bar, but not horribe and smokey and creepy. they have like, 150 beers on tap and i dunno, it's kinda fancy.

travis always gets milk stoat. which sounds really gross to me. i dont drink so i get abita root beer. it's on tap too!

i had a healthy dinner of cheese fries. travis had chicken garlic pizza.

that's drew. he is the smartest. he knows all about history and literature and countries.

ryan is the pop culture guy. i am about certain things. like boy bands and jack black.

we didnt' win the big thing. but we did get the 'impossible question" for the first time ever. it's always something like, how long, in yards, is the rio grande. it was "how heavy in tons is the washington monument?" it was pretty exciting.

i got back to the house at around 10:30 i think. no pictures in between because it was basically me in the car in the dark. i was pretty tired, i dont' know why. i put on my dumb glasses and my cool 3-d shirt.

then i read for awhile.

then i passed out.
hope you liked it! i had a preetty good day. |

I laughed out loud at the bear picture and the burger king/ lebanon picture.
I also love your town square! It's so cute :)
hehe. I love it Rae. I may steal the trivia night picture for myspace.
hehe. i am so glad i got to see what goes on in my house when i am not here!!!
i told you that antique store was the creepiest ever. i think the three or whatever on that side are owned by the same family. did you find the brochure for the legend of sugar flat road? oh man, it's a good one.
anyways. see you soon i hope!!!
oh, and my mom LOVED the card. it is super cute!
i completely forgot that you told me how scary that place is! i didn't even feel weird until i walked up the stairs and noticed the lion over the door! ah!!
GAH!! why the hell don't i have cable yet!!
i would give my left arm to make out with stephen.
haha that was an awesome post.
my mom is obsessed with fiesta ware. she has 18 different colored sets, plus a gravy boat, a butter dish, and salt and pepper shakers that are different colors than the plates.
and that taffy looks delicious.
ooo lucky! i want tons of colors so i can mix and match.
and wow the taffy was good. i didn't have enough to buy the big box, i wish i had.
I love picture entries like this. And I love cheese fries.
Funny that you bought that fox planter right before seeing those freaking adorable fox babies.
oh i love your icon. i have that card framed on my dresser i love it so much!
maybe the fox planter is lucky! cuz i've never ever seen a fox out here before!
OMG!! those deer heads are creeeepy. i want to go there. ♥ | |
